First European plant in Basel-Land

The pharmaceutical company Primopus is a partner in drug development and manufacturing across all therapeutic areas. In 2021, the U.S. company founded a subsidiary in the Basel Area.

In the industrial complex Getec Park in Muttenz, Primopus is offering services to innovators and biotech startups. Here, the pharmaceutical experts have acquired a plant that was previously owned by Novartis.

Primopus invests a two-digit million Swiss franc amount to modernize the plant and install manufacturing facilities for the production of drug substances. The company is planning to create more than 60 jobs.
